community service

ok so today is the first day of our community service so i woke up extra early so i won't be late in meeting up with my group mates. oh i yeah...i forgot... the final count of puppies is 5, the last one is a boy...and so we went to the place where will give the kids free tutorial... the place is very small and it's beside a polluted river so the place kinda smells...and the place where the tutorial was held is kinda small and there is not enough space for all the kids, so i could say that it's not really conducive for learning. in the middle of teaching the kids, there was another group who arrived, so the 1st graders were transferred to them. may and i were teaching the 5th and 6th graders, and our memories were tested, we have to remember all the things we learned in elementary school. i enjoyed the morning class, but i felt that all my energy is gone.

we had lunch in this eatery/carinderia (hehehe) near the place we were serving. this eatery was shown to us by some of the kids we were teaching. the food there is much cheaper than the food served in school. and after our meal we planned what we would be doing in the afternoon.

and so in the afternoon, we organized a list of games for the kids. we had fun all afternoon but i felt so tired because i was standing all the time...uhm and then we all went home...and i can't think of anything else to say so i'll just post pictures...

so this is where we had the tutorial, you can see that there are so many kids attending the tutorial.

this was when vanessa was preparing for story-telling

the kids are playing longest line, uhm self explanatory(hehehe)
